Spring in Chicago
Sunshine, showers, or blizzards
Depends on the day

The mercury falls
But in spite of the weather
The stray cat still stalks

We were caught off guard
By an April blizzard with
Unsalted sidewalks
4.
People are silly
With hocus-pocus forecasts
Believing ground hogs
5.
Breezes can fool you
In spring, some gusts scream, “WINTER”
After summer winks
6.
Nature never calls
It’s expecting calls from us
We’ve lost touch with it
