The loud crow perching
On the Dunkin Donuts’ roof
Could be an omen.

“Hey, YOU! Don’t eat here!”
Might be what the bird cawed
As people approached
3.
“A murder of crows”
Is how their flocks are described.
What is one crow called?
4.
The crows in The Wiz
Are like people in the hood
That just love to hate.
5.
Was it an omen,
Or just a bird making noise
Trying to scare me?
6.
Ravens are not crows.
They’re both beautiful black birds
But they’re not the same.
7.
Not superstitious-
But I don’t ignore omens.
I’ll eat somewhere else!
