but like the youth say, “i’m woke”
before fire… smoke

bespeak of greater issues:
race, class, and priv’lege

I’m not “out of line”; you are.
You do not trump me.

Appreciate that
My attentions’s a blessing-
I guess, in disguise.

This bath water’s done.
That’s why I’m throwing it out-
Keeping the baby!
