HAIKU OF THE DAY (Thanksgiving) 11232017

1.

We feast once a year
Thankfully celebrating
That we have survived.

2.

Glad we’re still here to

Cook, to clean, and to catch-up

‘Cause it’s been too long.

3.

Some introductions

Often happen breaking bread

At fam’ly functions.

4.

Holiday season

Has officially commenced!

Start your search engines!

5.

Here comes the itis

Like a cordial digestif.

Dreams of leftovers.

I’m just starting out in poetry and it would be amazing if you could give my page a follow too 🙂
(only if you like my stuff of course!)
