In some neighborhoods,
Unlike when April showers,
Bullets rain year round.

Children are marching

To protest gun violence-

They shouldn’t have to.

3.
People from the hood
Seldom remain silent or
Plead insanity.

4.

Can’t lock us all up,

Or suspend ev’ry student,

If we all protest.
