BLACK COFFEE (poems on Starbucks boycott and settlement)

1.
There are still those who’ll pity the white guy
Avoiding contact with this black man’s eyes.

2.
Are black people still boycotting Starbucks?
‘cause Dunkin Donuts music really sucks!

3.
Acts of contrition
may save falling stock prices
in lieu of justice.

3.
Much ado about
Black men not buying coffee
In a coffee house.

4.
Boycotts
Expose misdeeds
Perpetrated by stores
that disrespect their customers.
Stores losing money is
Collateral
Damage.

5.
Black Coffee
no sugar no cream
or how about none at all?
Navigation between social locations is tricky in America
because their boundaries are strictly enforced
by white supremacy’s gatekeepers
guarding them.
