I can’t deny that
I am a real piece of work
Always “in progress”
2.
I am a poet
skilled with puns and metaphors.
Shouldn’t I be red?
3.
Listening to birds-
Then raindrops start trickling down
Blowing the moment!
4.
I have past traumas
That take me to “dark places”
In my current life.
5.
But there’s always hope.
If I still can crack a smile
And not be pissed off.
